Made salmon for dinner last night and it turned out really good! I cooked the salmon on my new grill I purchased from Fred Meyer. I just seasoned the salmon with Lawry’s garlic salt, McCormick’s pure ground black pepper and Old Bay seasoning. I have been making some changes in my diet because as an older woman my weight goes up and down and lately it has been up along with high blood pressure. I read salmon is a good source of nutrience and is a healthy diet staple to have in your weekly diet. Healthyeating.sfgate.com says that salmon is no magical fat burning food but salmon is a lean protein and can reduce calorie intake helping to reduce body weight. I am for reducing my body fat this is why I joined 24 Hour Fitness a few weeks ago. I will keep my fellow bloggers up to date on my new journey in weight loss, diet and exercise.
